Weekend of the 16th of October
Business is slowing down during
the week, but the weekends are still filling up. On Saturday, we had a delux
charter. The weather was great, and we fished just off Hare Crk about 2 miles
south of the buoy. Wide open bite. Ended up with limits by 9:00 a.m. and
fished for lings after that. I think the low pressure coming in had some effect
on
the lings. We ended up with 1 keeper and not many throwbacks. Had an awesome
time.
On Sunday, the wind picked up but the fishing didn't. Worked hard to scratch
out 1/2 limits. Everybody had a great time trying though. It looks like winter
is knocking at our door. Here comes the rain. Fish-On!

Not what you would call a nice summer day.
I guess they can't all be beautiful. Had to work hard for the fish we got
today. Ended up with 3/4 limits plus 2 lings. Local, Annie Robertson is showing
off
her 6 1/2 pound Vermillion rockfish that she caught on light tackle. Way
to go Annie!
