Wide open bite today. Couldn't ask for much nicer day to be on the ocean. Seas were flat, winds calm and hungry fish. Back to the dock by 10:00 with limits of salmon for 8 anglers. Fishing straight out in 310 ft of water. Everything was working. I was fishing with a blue mackerel crocodile spoon on the downrigger at 30 ft down. I think my rod hooked 4 or 5 fish. Let's hope this is going to be the norm for awhile. Fish-On!

Took out the Schulze family of 5 today. Good day to be on the water. Fished about 3 miles northwest of the buoy in 350 ft of water. A watermelon flasher with a motoroil hoochie with a cut anchovy from 25 to 65 pulls with a 2 lb lead was happening. We ended up 2 fish short of limits, but we had our chances.
