Calm seas ahead

Sunday June 26th, 2011 — Although there’s some possible rain in the forecast, the winds are going to calm down and the ocean should be pretty calm. Today we fished for salmon. We landed one just after we set our gear in the water and lost a nice one a few minutes later. I thought today might be the day. But, the bite shut-off. I trolled back down towards the buoy and right at the end pulling our gear to go home, we hooked up. Before we were thru, we landed 2 more nice fish and lost one. The radio talk sounded like most boats started having action again. I think there are some fish here. Lets hope there here for awhile. I will find out tomorrow. Kenneth Grimm is showing off this nice 12 pounder. Fish-On!
