June 22nd, 2011 — The Telstar* went south fishing for rockfish and lingcod. We had some pretty fair action today and the weather was good too! We ended up with 3/4 limits of rockfish for 16 anglers and 1/2 dozen keeper lings! Biggest one was about 10 pounds. Great variety today. Some bags had 7 different species in them. Conditions were acceptable. The water was a bit cold at 49 degrees. I went south looking for some clear water and we found that. We jumped quite a few spots working south and ended up fishing the last part of our trip just north of Mendocino in 50 to 70 feet of water. The wind stayed out till the end of the trip. Fun was had by all. Fish-On!
